Lauren Loya, M.D.
Board Certified Physician & Owner
Prior to opening Skin Beautiful Medical Spa, Dr. Loya worked as a board-certified family physician, first in Chicago, then in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, she was a faculty member for the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency. During her years working as a family physician, Dr. Loya developed an interest in aesthetic medicine and skin care for both women and men. Dr. Loya has pursued additional training and certification in all treatments offered at Skin Beautiful Medical Spa.
Dr. Loya grew up in Greensburg, PA, southeast of Pittsburgh. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Loya graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1995 and The University of Illinois at Chicago Family Medicine Residency Program in 1998.
Dr. Loya's interest and enthusiasm for the aesthetic field led her to open Skin Beautiful Medical Spa in the fall of 2007.
Hollie DeLuca
Physician Assistant - Certified
Hollie Deluca graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a Master's Degree of Physician Assistant. Hollie is licensed with Pennsylvania's State Board of Medicine and is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. Hollie has been working in the field of aesthetic medicine for over 6 years.
Barbara Spade
Registered Nurse
Barbara Spade graduated from The Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2005 and has Allied Health degree from Clarion University. She is licensed with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Barb has provided care at a large Pittsburgh based hospital primarily treating patients in the Hematology /Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
She became interested in the aesthetic medicine field and has been highly trained to administer an array of aesthetic procedures under Dr. Loya.
Jolanta Sliwa
Licensed Esthetician &
Permanent Makeup Technician
Originally trained as a makeup and fragrance specialist, Jolanta Sliwa has been in the cosmetic industry for over 27 years throughout Europe and the United States.
As a graduate of the Boca Beauty Academy in Boca Raton Florida, Jolanta expanded her skills and talent into the art of permanent makeup. Her extensive education and international training has led her to work for many prestigious companies such as La Prairie, Vera Wang, Escada and Tiffany.
Jolanta is dedicated to delivering a soft, natural-looking finish. She uses the finest products to artistically apply and enhance the natural features of each patient. With her patient-caring approach she ensured each individual's expectations have been exceeded.
Jolanta is available for complimentary consultations and looks forward to helping you wake up with your makeup.
Kristin Snyder
Patient Services Coordinator
A Pittsburgh native, Kristin Snyder has been with Skin Beautiful Medical Spa & Hormone Restoration Center since the beginning in November of 2007. She is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg campus with a Bachelor degree in Communication.
Kristin is the Patient Service Coordinator for Skin Beautiful Medical Spa & Hormone Restoration Center as well as Dr. Loya’s other medical practice the Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center. She is knowledgeable about all services that both practices have to offer including aesthetic procedures like Botox and injectable fillers, bio-identical hormone therapy, medically supervised weight loss and skin care.
Kristin enjoys meeting, helping and seeing each patient improve in their health and/or skin care needs. Kristin takes pride in ensuring that each of our patients has a rewarding experience and that the staff continues to meet our patients’ needs.
