Lauren Loya, M.D.

Prior to opening the medical spa, Dr. Loya worked as a board-certified family physician, first in Chicago, then in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, she was a faculty member for the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency.
During her years working as a family physician, she developed an interest in aesthetic medicine and skin care for both men and women. She has pursued additional training and certification in all the treatments she currently offers at Skin Beautiful Medical Spa.
Dr. Loya grew up in Greensburg, PA, southeast of Pittsburgh. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Loya graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1995 and The University of Illinois at Chicago Family Medicine Residency Program in 1998.

Dr. Loya’s interest and enthusiasm for the aesthetic field led her to open Skin Beautiful Medical Spa in the heart of the South Side.
